About 4 years ago, I watched with intrigue during a MindBodyGreen panel discussion, about two childhood besties who grew up, each fighting her own health battle.  One with body image issues and disordered eating, and the other with chronic cystic acne; both conditions they admit to causing deep internal turmoil and feelings of unworthiness.  Over time, they studied nutrition science and experimented with plant-based eating.  Cooking and delivering meals on bicycles, to their friends in NYC was the beginning of their company, and plant-based meal delivery program, Sakara Life.
